Tiago Troccoli

Tiago Troccoli holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Communication Systems Engineering. He has experience as an embedded systems engineer and as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses. His doctoral research focused on developing a novel indoor localization system based on radio direction finding, in collaboration with Wirepas Ltd and the University of Tampere, supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program. 

He has filed two patents and published his research in qualified IEEE journals. Currently, he is a researcher at the Royal Military Academy, working on radio direction-finding-based localization systems in the Beyond Visual Augmented Reality project.
