LORACO – Long Range Communications

The objectives of this research project are to study, enhance, develop and implement wideband HF waveforms on a software defined radio. The main idea is to increase the HF bandwidth of 3 kHz with solutions provided by different STANAGs in order to transmit higher data rates. This project is in the scope of an European Defence Agency (EDA) Cat B project in which RMA provides a contribution in kind for 36 man months.
