Pouyan Ebrahimbabaie
About
Pouyan is a Senior Research Scientist at the Royal Military Academy (Brussels, Belgium), specializing in Protected Waveforms for Satellite Communications (SATCOM). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Liège and have developed patented innovations in statistical signal processing, Near-Field Communications (NFC), and wireless device detection systems. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and as a Senior Signal Processing Engineer at NXP Semiconductors (Graz, Austria). Since 2020, He has contributed to EU strategic projects, including the European Protected Waveform (EPW). His expertise spans Protected Waveforms, 5G NTN, Telecommunication Systems, Software-Defined Radio, and Statistical Signal Processing.
